Every year in November, we run our Secret Santa for Seniors program. Through this program, we ask our community to help us spread a little Christmas cheer to area seniors during the holiday season! Our Secret Santa for Seniors program is designed to ensure area seniors celebrate the holiday season.
Valley Senior Services has identified seniors who are in need of a little extra holiday cheer this season. These seniors currently work with Valley Senior Services and may be celebrating the holidays alone or are unable to travel to see family due to their health. They were asked to complete a gift wish list for their holiday season and starting on November 16, you can get a wish list by calling the Valley Senior Services Main office at 701-293-1440 or emailing info@valleyseniors.org.
Community members are invited and encouraged to adopt an area senior by selecting a wish list and shopping for their Christmas gifts. Gifts need to be dropped off at Valley Senior Services by 12:00 pm on Monday, December 6.
Caring Catalog
Valley Senior Services is participating in the 2021 Caring Catalog! The Caring Catalog is an online, giving platform powered by the FM Area Foundation to help connect community members with local nonprofits during the holiday season.
This online giving campaign runs from November 29-December 13. All proceeds donated to Valley Senior Services go to our Secret Santa for Seniors Program. Learn more and donate.
2020 Secret Santa Success
In 2020 we helped 210 seniors in Cass County and received $700 in gift cards, $600 in Metro Senior Rides tickets and an extra $600 to buy additional gifts for area seniors. Thank you to everyone who helped make this program a success!
