So, you’ve been going to the gym for awhile now but getting here after a long day of work is beginning to become somewhat of a struggle. On the other end you may be having trouble waking up for your early morning workouts, well there is a solution for both issues! Pre-workout is a supplement that meant to give you that little kick you need to get into the gym and have a great workout!

There are plenty of pre-workouts out there and it might be a little intimidating at first trying to figure out which is best for you, but everyone is different and there are a few factors you want to consider, tolerance being the biggest! If caffeine is no stranger to you pre-workout will be an easy transition since caffeine is one of the main ingredients in most pre-workouts. Different types of caffeine combined is what helps keep you focused during a workout! What makes a beginner pre-workout different than an advanced one is how much of each ingredient is present which is why it’s important to know your tolerance!

Beta-Aline is another huge ingredient in almost every pre-workout which causes the infamous “tingling” sensation users tend to feel. This feeling is completely normal and goes away after a short period of time. Beta-Aline is a non-essential amino acid that increases time to exhaustion which means you can workout harder for a longer period of time without fatigue!

Pre-workouts usually all have some sort of pump matrix which means it helps blood flow travel to the working muscles! When a muscle is performing blood is diverted from other places in order to make that muscle perform maximally! This also provides the muscles working with sufficient oxygen and nutrients! Pre-workouts can help your body pump blood to your muscles so you can achieve maximum results!

I am not saying pre-workout is a necessity, but we all have those days where getting to the gym can be difficult and these will help give you the boost you need to have a great workout! Even if this isn’t an issue you have, pre-workout might be what you need to break plateaus and help achieve your goals!  We have started selling pre-workouts at the club that vary from beginner to advanced so if you have any questions or concerns about which one would be best for you talk to Logan or Kelly!
